Fountain House Lahore was established in 1965 after establishment of Lahore Mental Health Association (LMHA) in 1962 and its main objective is to provide rehabilitation center for mentally ill people in Lahore city of Punjab Province and this institute was submitted to government of Pakistan in 1965 and now it worked under the supervision of government of Pakistan. After approval of center by government, government sent a proposal to the social and rehabilitation services, Department of Health, Education and Welfare Government of USA for technical and financial assistance and the related staff was visited Fountain House Lahore and developed a strong relationship between two countries.

The main objective of Fountain House Lahore organized a free medical camps under programs on weekly basis in Lahore for consultation of patients .
